up to £38,000 + company car + benefits


Responsible for the development of new packaging, ensuring fitness for purpose from a technical and graphical point of view, whilst ensuring cost savings, innovation and increased quality and consistency.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Capable of managing multiple projects within tight lead-times.

Excellent communicator across multiple departments and customer / supplier base.

Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical project lead role.

Ability to research new innovative ideas.

Sound knowledge of production automation.

Skilled in product re-engineering in both specifications and efficiencies.

Sound PC skills

Comfortable working within teams in either leading or participating.

Skilled in collating and managing packaging and labour costs identifying any impacts on efficiencies.

Self motivating, excellent in time management and ability to prioritise.

Diploma member of Institute of Packaging.

Competencies in reprographics / origination process and all print processes across all substrates.

Strength in interpreting a marketing brief and converting into a technical supplier brief.

Fully conversant with testing procedures and protocol.

Skilled in collating and compiling technical specifications allowing sound procurement procedures to take place.

Full understanding of accuracy of bill of material loading.

Willingness to travel in the UK & Europe

Flexible working hours due to need of production start ups etc.

Up to date knowledge on all aspects of environmental and legislative policies.
