Sales Manager, responsible for client sales in the UK & Europe.
Responsibilities
To manage, motivate, review, and inspire a sales team (currently two).
To increase the company’s client base and sales, in designated territories.
To maintain or increase gross margins in the designated territories.
To attend/assist with exhibitions
Manage sales in geographic territories, as appropriate
Develop sales territories, as designated (some may be overseas such as Scandinavia, Benelux, or Eastern Europe)
Agree and achieve sales budgets in designated territories
Manage own client base
To assume the responsibility of obtaining and handling new enquiries from new potential clients via email, phone calls, website, other colleagues, or other sources as appropriate.
Obtain sufficient information about the potential client, their company, and their needs by evaluating information, to conclude whether they “qualify” as a potential client
Arrange a meeting with potential clients to present the company, products, and services, in accordance with the potential client’s market needs and trends
Gathering information using “Workflow” procedures for sample requests, guide pricing, or quotations
Conclude meetings with the reassurance of follow ups and sample deliveries; establish and agree the next stage with projects
While in meetings with the client, be responsible for initiating the start of a good working relationship
Characteristics required:
Proven track record in packaging sales,management ideally gained in the Cosmetic & Toiletry Packaging marketplace
Excellent communicator/presenter, both written and verbal
A second language is desirable but not essential
