Job Description

  Purpose of role :
To deliver exceptional client service (by helping them meet their NPD business objectives) through demonstrating effective project management skills and developing strong relationships with key client personnel and with immediate team and internal departments.

Accountabilities :
Effective Project Management – Ability to plan and fully understand workload on a short-medium-long term basis. Understand and follow agreed processes with NPD at the client. Pre-empt issues through effective planning. Ensure cost recovery across all projects.
Category Management (packaging) – Fully understand the clients trading category/ies and annual activity plan and be able to plan workload accordingly. Attend brand/category planning sessions,ensure smooth running of projects and understand client priorities even further. Management of the photography process ensuring timely delivery of product maximising cost efficiencies of agreed scheduling with a zero % re-shoot target.
Ambassadors to the brand promote its services. Represent & support the wider team. Ability to demonstrate professionalism at all times.
Brand Management – Be Brand Custodian for the client. Ensure consistency on pack across full ranges. Demonstrate brand knowledge and educate stakeholders whenever necessary. Maintain physical packaging library samples.
Translate design to artwork and repro - Ensure 1st and 2nd artwork on time via studio teams. Manage approval process and ensure sign off on time or follow agreed escalation process. Manage delivery of final proof to the client and ensure final cromalin sign off on time. Analysis of project UPC’s in to packaging profile grouping for efficient template automation and / or “repro ready artwork” for client approval.
Demonstrate technical knowledge – Understanding in all major printing processes and reprographics eg colour management. Provide solutions to uphold the Client Brand values from "concept to print" raising the standard of printed packaging quality whilst maximising opportunities to reduce costs to the client.
Manage MIS systems, ensure data integrity for all projects. Be able to report and work the system on a daily basis. Input cost estimates onto SAP cost management system.
Relationship Management – Develop effective relationships across the clients Brand (product, design, marketing and planning teams), client traders, external suppliers including design agencies, manufacturers and printers. Ensure regular proactive updates whenever necessary.
Key Client Meetings – Attend Project Brief Meetings and Design Brief Meetings. Arrange, chair and manage all pre artwork meetings and Post Launch reviews

Qualifications / experience required :
Graduate with 2 years minimum relevant marketing or graphics experience/Or 4 years minimum relevant marketing or graphics experience
Exposure to high profile clients / FMCG brands
Client facing experience essential
Computer literate – MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
